Acoustic Baffles

Richter Acoustic-Baffles

Striking lines for perfect acoustics

Acoustic-Baffles are vertically suspended acoustic wood slats that can be produced in a variety of dimensions, material surfaces and microperforations. The type of assembly can be adaped as required by the the project design.

Acoustics

High rooms with wide ceiling areas offer an ideal starting point for optimizing room acoustics with ceiling baffles. The sound that hits the microperforated baffles is mostly absorbed and the remaining sound energy is diffusely reflected by the vertical baffles.

The acoustic effectiveness can be further optimized depending on the with and spacing of the slats.

Flexibility of design

Richter Acoustic-Baffles offer interior architects and designers the opportunity to create linear accents without completely covering the ceiling surface. In that way, concrete ceilings or technical installations can flow into the overall room concept. In addition to

laminates such as Egger laminates and wood stains you can also choose from a variety of natural wood veneers. The LightBeton in Urban real concrete is also available as a surface option. And if you don't see what you are looking for, we are happy to source any commercially available wood veneer or Egger laminate for you.

System

Acoustic-Baffles can be easily adaped to different ceiling systems and conditions. Due to the self-contained character of the acoustic baffles, not only flat applications but also partial or accentuating applications are possible. The dimensions can be adjusted as required by the building project.
